A note from Head Chef Litzy: “I was raised by two teachers who taught me the Mexican tradition of hard work and contributing to the family. As the oldest child, it was my responsibility to care for my younger siblings by cooking and this is how I discovered my passion. With brothers who are seven and ten years younger than me, I had to be creative to make dishes that were nutritious and delicious. I played with ingredients and experimented with recipes and flavors to prepare meals that were interesting and wholesome. At Monzón I have continued this passion and I am proud to serve a menu of dishes cooked with traditional Mexican flavors, using fresh ingredients and creative modern touches. I taste each beer and construct dishes that compliment our brews. Brewpup favorites prepared on sight using real ingredients mean that whether you’re hungry for a snack or full meal, you can eat at Monzón assured that each dish is high quality, tasty, and a perfect pairing for a cold beer.
